Sanya Verma is a fifth-year medical student at Monash University, currently undertaking her clinical training across Monash Health. She has a strong academic and clinical interest in women’s and children’s health, with a particular focus on improving maternal and neonatal outcomes. Alongside her academic work, Sanya is actively engaged in student leadership as the Monash Medical Students Year 5D Social Representative in 2026, where she coordinates events that foster community and wellbeing among medical students, reflecting her interest in event planning and peer engagement. She is also involved in advocacy initiatives that support medical student wellbeing and promote equity in healthcare, and aspires to pursue a career that integrates clinical medicine, research, and advocacy in women’s and paediatric health.
